set your freezer extra cold for 24 hours. once 24 hours has passed let klondike hibernate in ther for at least another 4 hours. Prepare batter with beer, flour, and an egg yolk. whisk egg white until you can turn bowl upside down and egg white stays in bowl. add to batter. add salt and sugar. Make sure oil is at 375. remove klondike from freezer dredge in batter and drop in fryer. allow batter to turn golden brown. remove and set on paper towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar enjoy.

Homegrown Blues Funk that'll make you shake yo ass
It was a Monday night at the Old Point Bar in 2004 when Mike Doussan was introduced as simply West Bank Mike. The name stuck and has become widely known throughout New Orleans and around the country. Inspired by the funky sounds of New Orleans, Guitar slinging blues, and the improvisational jams of the Grateful Dead, West Bank Mike got his start sitting in with blue eyed soulman Eric Lindell, the funky New Orleans Juice, and blues man Marc Stone amongst others. Shortly after filling a guitar spot with Juice, Mike started his own project-The Fisher Project. Over the years the band has taken on many forms and at present consists of WBM-guitars, Scott jackson-bass, Mike Burkart-keys, and Bryan Besse-drums. The band has achieved many honors including taking first place in the Sonny Boy Blues Society Battle of the Bands earning them a slot on the main stage of The Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival.
Mike has played alongside many great musicians including Walter Wolfman Washington, Warren Haynes, Dr. John, Anders Osborne, Tab Benoit, Joe Bonamassa, Elmore James Jr., Eric Lindell and many others.
West Bank Mike's current projects include SIX STRINGS DOWN, IRENE SAGE BAND, WEST BANK MIKE ACOUSTIC DUO, and THE FISHER PROJECT
